Boy Scout Troop 158, Indian Trails District, Prairielands Council serving the communities of Chebanse, Clifton, and Ashkum, Illinois Boy Scout Troop 158 meets weekly in the Scout Hut at the Chebanse Civic Center. Boy Scout Committee and parents meet every month on the second Monday starting at 7pm also in the Scout Hut.
Klondike Derby Champions! Congratulations to the Scouts of the Marksmen Patrol from Troop 158, chartered to the Chebanse American Legion and Pack 162, chartered to the Clifton Lions Club. These talented Scouts earned the championship trophy at the 2010 Prairielands Council Klondike Derby at Camp Robert Drake on Saturday, January 30th. The Marksmen Patrol scored a total of 117 out of a possible 120 points on the twelve challenging activities, such as pancake flipping, two-man sawing, and matchless fire starting. This amazing group of Scouts earned the highest score out of 47 patrols consisting of 376 Scouts from throughout the nine counties of Illinois and Indiana in the Prairielands Council. Give your worn out flags to any Scout or email us here and we can make arrangements to get your flag so it can be retired properly.
